Europe樂隊1981年成立于瑞典.起初樂隊名字叫"Force"(力量).由核心成員Joey Tempest(主唱)、John Norum(吉他) 和John Leven(貝斯)組成.在一次瑞典全國業(yè)余搖滾樂團(tuán)大賽中獲得冠軍并得到一紙唱片合約.之后將樂隊名 更改為Europe并在瑞典發(fā)行了兩張專輯"Europe"和"Wings of Tomorrow".
