One day, a donkey was carrying a bundle of wood and he fell into the river. He struggIed to come out from the water but in vain.The donkey moaned and cried for help.

Some frogs in the water heard the cries. They came to the donkey and said，“You only fall into the river once and you make such a fuss.How about us who stay in the water for such a long time?How pitiful would that be?”

有一天，一頭驢馱著一捆木材摔進(jìn)了河里。它掙扎著想爬上岸來，可總是爬不上來，驢便唉聲嘆氣地高呼救命。

河里的青蛙聽到了驢的呼救聲，成群出來圍觀并對驢說：“你只不過是摔了一跤，跌進(jìn)河里，就這樣大嚷大叫。如果你像我們一樣長期居住在這里，你又會痛苦成什么樣子呢？”
