“云梯被放倒了，”瑞貝卡回答著，禁不住打了個(gè)寒戰(zhàn)，

“沒有，”瑞貝卡答道，“圣殿騎士退回城堡時(shí)就把橋板給毀了。
few of the defenders escaped with him into the castle — the shrieks and cries which you hear, tell the fate of the others.
只有很少的守兵隨他退進(jìn)城堡里，其余那些人，你只聽聽他們的慘叫，就能明白啥結(jié)果了。
Alas! I see that it is still more difficult to look upon victory than upon battle."
