英語(yǔ)笑話:Three nuns 三個(gè)尼姑

Three nuns were talking about their parish priest.

They were discussing his room, which they took turns cleaning every week. They were surprised by some things they had found!

One said, "I found some porno magazines and I threw them away."

Another said, "I found some condoms and I poked holes in them."

The third nun said, "Oh shit!"

有三個(gè)修女在談?wù)撍齻兊慕虆^(qū)教士。

clergy泛指神職人員;priest通常是指天主教的教士，他們不能結(jié)婚，且必須禁欲;基督教的minister是可以結(jié)婚的。信徒通常稱呼他們?yōu)樯窀浮?/p>

2. They were discussing his room, which they took turns cleaning every week.

他們?cè)谟懻撍姆块g，那里每周由她們輪流打掃。

"turn"指“(輪流做某事時(shí)的)機(jī)會(huì)”，"take turns"指“采用輪流的方式做某事”，后接動(dòng)名詞。若要表達(dá)輪到了誰(shuí)，可以用It's one's turn。

3. They were surprised by some things they had found!

她們對(duì)所發(fā)現(xiàn)的一些東西感到吃驚!

句中的by也可以用at取代，使用by時(shí)，其被動(dòng)語(yǔ)氣較強(qiáng)。

oh是表示恐懼、喜悅、驚訝、痛苦是所發(fā)出的感嘆詞，而shit則是生氣、焦急時(shí)所發(fā)出的感嘆詞。
