     A:We're in the market for machine tools.What can you offer in this line?
     B:What type do you have in mind exactly?
     A:Well,mainly lathe.We're also interested in shapers,grinders,and milling machines...Ah!These are the machines we're interested in.
     B:Look,the specifications are at the bottom of the page.
     A:Pretty sturdy machines,I should say.Is your showroom far from here?When can we see them?
     B:No,it's only a 20-minute car ride.Whenever you want,I'm at your service.
     A:I will be free tomorrow afternoon.Suppose we make it,say,two o'clock tomorrow afternoon.Could you manage that?
     B:Yes.

     A:I represent the Hassan Trading Company.We're interested in importing a complete bottling?
     machine for exhibit and sale in our country.If satisfactory,we may consider further orders.
     B:Well,this unit here on display is a full scale assembly of our latest machines.How do you think about it?
     A:Very splendid.How about patent rights?
     B:We have five international patents which we are ready to sell.
     A:I can consider it.Do you have any literature I can take with me?
     B:Yes,here are some catalogs and brochures.
     A:What about the price list?Does it have a guarantee to go with it?
     B:Just a moment,please.
     A:Will I have to wait long?
     B:No.
        (A moment later)
     B:Here it is,with it.
     A:我是哈森貿(mào)易公司的代表,我們想要進口一整套裝瓶機,以備在我國展示和銷售。如果滿意的話,我們可以考慮進一步的訂單。
     B:哦,這里所展示的裝置是本公司最新機器的全套設備。您覺得怎么樣?

     A:The facility and design of the Trade Show are great,don't you think so?
     B:Yes.They're much better than last year.They have done a very good job this time.
     A:I'm glad our booth is on the first floor.More people can see our display.
     B:If someone wants to see us,they can look at this floor plan.It shows where all the companies have their booths.
     A:Let me see that.I didn't get one when I came in.
     B:Really?They didn't give you one with your ticket?
     A:No.I can't see Haier on this floor plan.Don't they have a booth here?
     B:They must.Let me look at that...Oh,here it is,Haier.It's on the second floor.
     A:Yes,I find it.It is next to the Gree booth.
     A:展覽會的設備和設計好極了,你認為呢?
     B:是的,比去年好多了。他們這次做得很好。

     C:Hello,Tony.Is everything OK?
     A:Well,a few problems actually.The exhibition stand is right at the back and it's tiny.And we have very few brochures and order forms.
     C:Hello,Tony.Can you hear me?
     A:Yes.
     C:That sounds terrible.We ordered a stand near the entrance!Didn't you talk to the conference manager?
     A:Yes,but.
     C:I want you to deal with it today,please,Tony!We spent a lot of money on that stand and we'll send the brochures immediately.
     A:Well,I'll do my best,but I don't think we can change it.
     C:Tony,if you can't do it,then I'll phone the conference manager myself.And another thing,can you try to find a good agent there to act for us in Britain?Did you remember?To help with the publicity and so on?
     A:OK.I'll do my best.I'll phone you again tomorrow,bye.
     A:太糟糕了,梅。我要打電話回總部匯報一下。

     A:Mr.Zhou,I found a wide variety of articles in the fair,and all your products look very attractive.
     B:I'm very glad you like our products,Mr.White.They are very popular with the users both at home and abroad in recent years.I'm sure they'll find a ready market in your area,too.
     A:I'm willing to give your products a try,but your delivery must be up to sample.
     B:Certainly.It's our principle in business to"Honor the contract and keep our promise".
     A:When can you deliver the goods?
     B:It's hard to say.It depends on what you choose and how large the quantity you want.
     A:Are you sure you can deliver the goods on time?
     B:Yes.We can ensure you what we promise in the contract.
     A:Direct business contact is good for both sides.
     B:I agree.Mr.White,if you want to know more about our products,we can provide some technical data.
     A:Thank you,Mr.Zhou.Now that I have a better understanding of your products and your business principles,to tell the truth,I really appreciate them.Shall we work out a deal tomorrow?
     B:Fine.I'll be waiting for you tomorrow morning.

     B:沒問題。合同上怎么說我們就會怎么做。
