　　be over 超越，結束

　　單純 be over+數(shù)字表示“……以上”，也可以與 there, here 相結合變成 be over there ( here ) ，還可以表示某種關系或事情結束。

　　例句：

　　The game ( party ) is over.

　　游戲（派對）結束了。

　　The bathroom's over there. Go wash your hands.

　　洗漱間在那里。去洗洗手吧。

　　The important thing is it's over and it doesn't matter.

　　最重要的是已經結束了，而且沒有多大意義了。

　　You have to believe me. It's over now.

　　你必須相信我，已經結束了。

　　對話：

　　A: The meeting will be over in two hours.

　　會議再過兩個小時就結束了。

　　B: That's good. I need to get back to work.

　　很好，我得回去工作了。
