☆Let us do this disco.
     ☆I don't care for the foxtrot.
☆I think I'll sit out the next dance, I'm tired.
☆Waltz is one of my favorite dances.
☆I'm sorry I'm engaged for this waltz.
☆It's our pleasure to attend this dancing party. Thank you for your invitation.
☆May I have the pleasure to have this dance with you?

     A:I'm hot after that dance.
B:Shall I bring you a glass of lemonade?
     A:Great. Thank you very much.
     B:Lemonade, here you are.
     A:Thanks.
B:You seem to understand these dances very well, Emily.
A:I'm a beginner actually. But after all, I have a splendid partner.
B:Yes, you're dancing with me all the time; but you ought not to. It isn't right. You must dance with some of these young Scotchmen.
A:I will, if they ask me to!
     A:好啊。
     A:謝謝。

A:Mary, would you like to dance with me? I hear you are a good dancer.
B:Thank you for your invitation. I was just thinking the same thing about you. Actually I'd like to learn how to do the traditional ballroom dances like the slow waltz and thequick waltz as well. Would you teach me some new dances?
A:No problem. Nowadays, you should be learning some new disco dances. Disco music has the best beat for dancing.
B:I agree with you. The only thing I don't care for is that it's sometimes hard to carry on a conversation with your partner. Both rock and roll and heavy mental is loud and usually fast.
A:Young people are especially used to disco dances as opposed to rock and roll or heavy mental music. This kind of music makes them feel excited and relaxed.
B:But, I still think I should learn some skills of the traditional ballroom dances so that I can deal with a variety of people.
     A:沒問題。

     A:What dance do you like?
B:I love to dance to fast music.
A:Then you must be interested in disco.
     B:Yes, it's my favorite.
     A:Oh, it's a disco. Let's dance.
     B:You're a good dancer.
A:Thank you. Now they are playing a rumba. Would you like to try?
B:Sorry, I feel like sitting out the next dance.
A:OK. Let's get something to drink.
     B:Good idea.
     A:謝謝。

A:May I have the first dance?
     B:With pleasure.
A:(Talking while dancing) I know that you are a good dancer. What dances do you like?
B:I like the old styles of dance, such as waltz, rumba, tango and so on. They are graceful.
A:Why do you like the old style of dance?
B:Do you think I should like modern dance?
A:Yes. Most young people like modern dance.
B:No, I do not like noisy music. I like the elegant atmosphere of the old styles.
A:So do I. May I have the pleasure of the next dance?
B:You are welcome. Yes, I would be delighted.
     A:是的。
     A:我也是。

A:What's the name of the movie?
     B:"Kungfu", acted by Zhou Xingchi.
A:Oh, that's great. I hear this movie is very excellent.
B:Sure. So many people like it very much.
     A:Have you bought the popcorn?
     B:Oh, sorry. I forgot it.
A:The bell rang, let's enjoy the movie first.
     B:OK.
