Topic4 Beijing parks adopt noise bans Two Beijing parks have adopted noise bans that don't allow group activities such as square dancing after 12 pm every day.

Management with the Jingshan Park and Beihai Park say park goers have been very cooperative and the results have been satisfying with noise levels within the parks dropping to 80 decibels recently from 90 last year.

The municipal park authority says the noise ban currently being piloted in the two parks might be promoted among other Beijing parks that suffer from noise pollution.
