格萊美獲獎歌手Adele離婚了

Divorce is likely to be a major influence on Adele’s next record, as the Grammy-winning singer finalized her split from husband Simon Konecki this weekend.

The pair—who are reportedly mediating joint custody of child Angelo—had initially announced an amicable split this year, and officially filed for divorce on Thursday.

People reports that court records show Adele, 31, filed for divorce from Konecki, 45, on Thursday in Los Angeles.

The singer had no comment on the matter, but in April stated through representatives Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh that “Adele and her partner have separated.”

“They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment.”

Adele and Konecki, a former Lehman Brothers employee who left in 2005 and founded eco-friendly water company Life Water, reportedly began dating in 2011, and married in a secret ceremony five years later.

The singer finally confirmed their marriage in 2017, stating during an acceptance speech, “Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband and my son — you’re the only reason I do it.” Their son, Angelo, was born in 2012, but never referenced by name until Adele publicly disclosed it in 2014.
