B: Yes, who did you hear that from?

A: That's not important. Are you going to tell me what it is?

誰(shuí)說(shuō)的不重要。你是不是該告訴我究竟是什么消息？

B: You'll have to guess.

A: Are you pregnant?

你懷孕了？

B: Are you kidding?

你開(kāi)玩笑嗎？

A: Just thought I'd ask. Are you celebrating your birthday?

B: Not today.

A: Let me think. Did you get a promotion?

讓我想想。你要升職了？

B: Of course not. I've never even had a job.

B: I'm going to be an aunt. My sister is pregnant with twins.

A: Congratulations. When is she due?

B: Her due date is April 20th, but twins are often born early.

預(yù)產(chǎn)期是4月20日，不過(guò)雙胞胎一般會(huì)早產(chǎn)。

A: Do you have any nieces or nephews now?

你目前有侄子和侄女嗎？

B: No. My sister's babies will be my first ones.

沒(méi)有。我姐姐這對(duì)雙胞胎將會(huì)是第一個(gè)。

A: That's great. I actually have some good news too.

太好了。實(shí)際上我也有個(gè)好消息。

B: Really? what is it?

真的嗎？是什么？

A: I just passed my final exam.

我剛剛通過(guò)了期末考試。

B: Well done. Are you going to go out and celebrate?

干得漂亮！你打算出去慶祝一下嗎？

A: I was thinking of going out for dinner. Do you want to come with me?

B: I'd be honored.
