A:I've got some bad news about the bike you lent me...
我有一個壞消息。是關(guān)于你借給我的自行車。
B:What's that?
怎么了？
A:I fell on the way to school,and your bike got scratched.I'm really sorry.
我在去學(xué)校的路上摔倒了，你的自行車劃傷了。真的很抱歉。
B:Don't worry about it.It's not new.It already has a few scratches.Did you get hurt?
別擔心，又不是新自行車。而且它上面本來就有 很多劃痕了。你傷著了沒有？
A:No,thank you.
沒有，謝謝關(guān)心。
B:That's the most important thing.
這才是最重要的。
A:It's kind of you to say so.I feel a little stupid.
你能這么說真是太好了。我感覺自己有點蠢。
B:Forget about it.
忘了這事吧。
A:When you lent me the bike it looked brand-new,almost,anyway.
你借給我自行車的時候，它看上去是全新的，不管怎樣，也差不多是全新的。
B:Maybe,but really I've fallen a couple of times and it's been hit once or twice as well.
也許吧，不過我真的摔過兩三次，另外它也被撞過一兩次呢。
