There was a boy in India who was sent by his parents to a boarding school.

有一個(gè)印度男孩，被他的父母送到了寄宿學(xué)校。

Before being sent away this boy was the brightest student in his class.

在送到寄宿學(xué)校之前，這個(gè)男孩是班里最聰明的學(xué)生。

He was at the top in every competition. He was a champion.

各項(xiàng)能力都是最好的。他總是第一名。

But the boy changed after leaving home and attending the boarding school.

但離家到寄宿學(xué)校之后，一切都改變了。

His grades started dropping. He hated being in a group. He was lonely all the time.

他的成績(jī)開(kāi)始下滑，他討厭集體，他開(kāi)始自閉。

And there were especially dark times when he felt like committing suicide.

天黑的時(shí)候，他甚至想自殺。

All of these changes were because he felt worthless and that no one loved him.

這一切都是因?yàn)樗X(jué)得沒(méi)有人愛(ài)他，他覺(jué)得生不如死。

His parents started worrying about the boy.

他的父母非常擔(dān)心他。

But even they did not know what was wrong with him.

但就連他們也不知道他怎么了。

So his dad decided to travel to the boarding school and talk with him.

They sat on the bank of the lake near the school.

他們坐在學(xué)校附近的湖邊。

The father started asking him casual questions about his classes, teachers and sports.

父親開(kāi)始隨意地問(wèn)起他的班級(jí)，老師和運(yùn)動(dòng)等方面的事。

After some time his dad said, Do you know, son, why I am here today?

過(guò)了一會(huì)，他的父親說(shuō)：你知道嗎，兒子，我今天為什么要來(lái)這里?

The boy answered back, to check my grades?

男孩回答：來(lái)檢查我的學(xué)習(xí)?

No, no, his dad replied, I am here to tell you that you are the most important person for me.

不是的，不是的，他的父親回答，我在這里來(lái)，是想告訴你，你是我最重要的人。

I want to see you happy. I don't care about grades. I care about you.

我想看到你快樂(lè)。我不在乎你的成績(jī)。我在乎你。

I care about your happiness. YOU ARE MY LIFE.

我在乎的是你的幸福。你是我的生命。

These words caused the boy's eyes to fill with tears.

聽(tīng)完這些話，男孩熱淚盈眶。

He hugged his dad. They didn't say anything to each other for a long time.

他抱著他的老爸。默默的，很長(zhǎng)時(shí)間都沒(méi)再說(shuō)話。

Now the boy had everything he wanted. He knew there was someone on this earth who cared for him deeply.

現(xiàn)在，這個(gè)男孩，已經(jīng)擁有他想要的一切。

He meant the world to someone.

他知道在這個(gè)世界上有人非常關(guān)心他。

And today this young man is in college at the top of his class and no one has ever seen him sad!

他是他人的世界?，F(xiàn)在，這個(gè)年青人在學(xué)院里名列前茅，從來(lái)沒(méi)有人見(jiàn)過(guò)他再難過(guò)!

Thanks a lot dad. YOU ARE MY LIFE!

1.send away 遣走，解雇;遣散

I'd send away for a russian bride.

我因?yàn)橐粋€(gè)俄國(guó)新娘被送走了。

I think however that the sun does not send away from himself all the water of the nile of each year, but that he also lets some remain behind with himself.

2.feel like 感覺(jué);想要

I don't feel like going anymore.

我再也不想練了。

I feel like vomiting and have diarrhea.

3.care for 照料,照顧

To care for your friend, you need to care for yourself.

想要照顧你的朋友，你需要先照顧好自己。

Everything else trusts the heavenly father and creator to care for their needs.

其他物種都相信上帝，并且上帝會(huì)照顧他們的需要。
