well. i almost called sean and cancelled our date at the last minute. i just didn't feel up to it. i couldn't think of a good excuse though, and i didn't want to deen rude. then,realized that i was being stupid. of course i would have a bad time if i made up my ming beforehand that it would be bad.

約會(huì)前最后一刻，我?guī)缀跻螂娫?huà)給西恩取消約會(huì)，但突然又不想這么做了。一來(lái)我想不到什么好借口，二來(lái)我也不想失禮。接著我突然明白自己好笨，如果我事先就一認(rèn)定約會(huì)會(huì)失敗，那當(dāng)然就不可能成功啰。

when he picked me up he gave me flowers--a small bouquet of red tulips, my favorite. i thanked him and told him i love tulips. he looked so pleased that iliked them so much, i was gld that i made up my ming to give him a chance.

他來(lái)接我時(shí)，送了我一小束我最喜歡的紅色郁金香。我謝謝他，并告訴他我很喜歡郁金香。他好像很滿(mǎn)意我那么喜歡這些花，而我也很高興并決定給他機(jī)會(huì)。
