Stuart was also helpful when it came to Ping-pong.
斯圖亞特在打乒乓球時(shí)的用處也很大。
The Littles liked Ping-pong, but the balls had away of rolling under chairs, sofas, and radiators,
利特爾一家人喜歡打乒乓球，可是球總會(huì)滾到椅子、沙發(fā)、暖氣爐的下面，
and this meant that the players were forever stooping down and reaching under things.
這時(shí)打球的人就總要彎腰鉆到這些地方的下面去揀球。
Stuart soon leaed to chase balls, and it was a great sight to see him come out from under a hot radiator, pushing a Ping-pong ball with all his might, the perspiration rolling down his cheeks.
斯圖亞特不久就學(xué)會(huì)了揀球。很多次，你都能看到他熱汗淋漓地從暖氣爐底下把一個(gè)乒乓球用盡全力推出來(lái)的樣子。
The ball, of course, was almost as high as he was, and he had to throw his whole weight against it in order to keep it rolling.
