B：Excuse me，I’d like to apply for a library card.

借 書(shū) 者：對(duì)不起，我想申請(qǐng)一張借書(shū)證。

L：Certainly.Here’s an application form.Do you have proof of residence?

圖書(shū)館員：好的，這是申請(qǐng)書(shū)。 您有沒(méi)有居住證明?

B：What sort of proof do you need?

借 書(shū) 者：你需要哪種證明呢?

L：A driver’s license or something showing that you live in this city.

B：I’m a student from out of state，so I don’t have a local driver’s license.(to be continued)
