　　S: Excuse me. I need some storybooks in easy English. Do you have anything like that?

　　學(xué)生：對(duì)不起，我要買(mǎi)一些用簡(jiǎn)易英文寫(xiě)的故事書(shū)。你們有任何像那樣的書(shū)嗎?

　　C: Well, there are a lot of storybooks upstairs in our children's section. Some are written for young children, others for teens. Maybe some of them will suit your needs.

　　店員：嗯，樓上兒童部門(mén)有很多故事書(shū)。有些是寫(xiě)給幼童看的，其它的則給十來(lái)歲的少年們看。也許它們中有一些會(huì)合乎你的需求。

　　3.upstairs adv. 在樓上

　　4.section n. 部門(mén)

　　5.some... others... 一些……而另一些……(用于非限定的兩個(gè)群體)

　　some... others... still others...

　　一些……一些……而另一些……(用于非限定的三個(gè)群體)

　　例：Some of his friends live in Beijing; others live in Shanghai.

　　(他的一些朋友住在北京，而另一些則住在上海。)

　　Some of the recent graduates are going to graduate school; others are going to get jobs; still others plan to travel around the world.

　　(一些大學(xué)生畢業(yè)生要念研究生，一些要找工作，而另一些人則準(zhǔn)備環(huán)游世界。)

　　6.go (and) V 去(做)……

　　注意：在美式英文中，常把 go 之后的連接詞 and 省略，而直接跟動(dòng)詞原形。

　　例：Could you go (and) answer the door, please?

　　(請(qǐng)你去應(yīng)門(mén)好嗎?)

　　7.take a look (at sth) 看一看(某物)

　　例：Take a look at this painting.

　　(你看一下這幅畫(huà)。)
