The term "weblog" was coined by Jorn Barger on December 17, 1997. The short form "blog" was coined by Peter Merholz, who jokingly broke the word "weblog" into the phrase "we blog".“博客”(weblog)一詞最早是由Jorn Barger于1997年12月17日創(chuàng)造的。其簡(jiǎn)寫形式“blog”的出現(xiàn)則歸功于Peter Merholz的玩笑之舉。他將“weblog”一詞分解成了“we blog”。
