第170期:酒吧高腳凳上的害蟲 The barstool pest

A man sitting in a bar noticed a beautiful woman a few stools down.

酒吧里有個(gè)人發(fā)現(xiàn)與他相隔幾張凳子的距離處坐著一個(gè)異常美麗的女子。

The physiological possibilities of this sort of phenomena pervaded the man's mind and pierced his thoughts.

看到這種現(xiàn)象后可能產(chǎn)生的生理反應(yīng)頓時(shí)彌漫了他的心靈，穿透了他的思想。

He turned to her and said, Madame, if I may petition to express my opinion, I find your physiology quite picturesque and your pigment perfect.

于是他走過去對(duì)那女子說道：小姐，如果我可以請(qǐng)求得到您的許可，我將說出我的看法。我發(fā)現(xiàn)您的身體非常美麗，您的面部顏色也近乎完美。

Appearing quite perturbed, her mouth dropped open like a petal from a flower.

看來那位女子感到被打擾了，她的嘴唇像花瓣一樣撅了起來。

Please do not be a pest, she replied.

請(qǐng)不要當(dāng)一個(gè)害蟲。她回答道。

The man decided to take the approach of philology at this phase of the conversation and commented on her phonetics,

談話已經(jīng)到了這個(gè)階段，這個(gè)家伙決定采取語言學(xué)的方法，開始對(duì)她的語音進(jìn)行評(píng)論道：

If I may say so, your stops, affricates, and especially your bi-labials are phenomenally attractive.

Trying to pinpoint why the woman was such a pillar of frigidity, the man resorted to a sort of pilferage of her person and simply reached over and pinched her bottom.

可這個(gè)家伙實(shí)在想查明為什么她這樣如柱子般冷淡，于是使出最后一招—準(zhǔn)備偷偷摸一下她的身體。他直接走上前去，掐了一下她的屁股。

Pervert! she yelled, Pestilence deserves pesticide.

你這個(gè)變態(tài)狂！女子尖叫道，你這樣的瘟疫應(yīng)該用殺蟲劑來剿滅。

She picked up a can of Raid from behind the counter and aimed it at the man, who suddenly appeared to petrify.

她隨手從柜臺(tái)后拿了一罐雷達(dá)殺蟲劑，對(duì)準(zhǔn)這個(gè)嚇得呆若木雞的家伙。

Just then the bartender stepped in and said, I too consider your physiology and phonetics phenomenal. Do not blame this poor man for being overcome with passion.

正當(dāng)此時(shí)，酒吧招待走了進(jìn)來，見此情景，他說道：我也認(rèn)為你的身體和語音非常特殊。別責(zé)怪這個(gè)可憐蟲！他已經(jīng)被激情沖昏了頭腦。

The woman's heart softened, and she put down the bug spray, Well, I guess you're not such a pest after all. In fact, you're kind of cute when you're petrified. What's your name?

這個(gè)女子聽后心軟了，她把殺蟲劑噴霧器放下，說道：你畢竟不是這樣的害蟲。事實(shí)上，你發(fā)呆的樣子還是很可愛的。你叫什么名字？
