1.keep sth. up：使某事物保持在高水平，使某事物保持(在同一水平)，使不低落

e.g.:The high cost of raw materials is keeping prices up.

昂貴的原料費用使價格居高不下。

2.run on sth.：以......為主題或中心，圍繞

e.g.:This meeting is totally running on this meaningless subject.

這個會議就是圍繞這個毫無意義的主題召開的。

3.have butterflies in one's stomach：緊張，憂慮，擔(dān)心

e.g.:Sitting there at my sister's wedding dinner, I had butterflies in my stomach because I know I'dhave to stand up and make a speech.

4.Wouldn't miss it for the world. 絕不會錯過的。

for the world 有“無論如何，怎樣也”的意思，通常用在否定句中，表示絕不，例如：I wouldn't miss theOlympics for the world. 我絕對不能錯過觀看奧運會。
