First up, the anniversary of a historic event in the civil rights movement. On March 9th, 1965, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. led a march to the Edmund Pettus Bridge of Selma, Alabama.

首先第一條新聞來說說民權(quán)運(yùn)動紀(jì)念活動。在1965年3月9號，馬丁路德金領(lǐng)導(dǎo)了向阿拉巴馬州塞爾瑪愛德蒙佩特司橋的大游行活動。

Two days beforehand, civil rights demonstrators had been attacked here by sheriff`s deputies and state troopers. Dozens of marchers were injured.

兩天前民權(quán)示威者遭受警員和州警襲擊，數(shù)十名示威者受傷。

On this day 50 years ago, Dr. King led more than 2,000 people back to the bridge. When state troopers ordered them to stop, Dr. King led them in prayer and turned the group around.

50年前的今天金博士領(lǐng)導(dǎo)著2000多人重返大橋，當(dāng)警察命令他們停止游行時金博士領(lǐng)導(dǎo)示威者圍成圓圈一塊祈禱。

The marchers succeeded in crossing the bridge on March 21st, on their way to Montgomery.

示威活動在3月21號前往蒙哥馬利途中經(jīng)過大橋時取得成功。

We told you last week that ISIS and the Boko Haram terrorist groups had something in common. They both want to establish a country based on their severe interpretation of Islam.

上周我們告訴大家ISIS和博科圣地恐怖組織有共同之處。雙方都想在極端伊斯蘭教義基礎(chǔ)上建立伊斯蘭國家。

Over the weekend, the leader of Boko Haram reportedly pledged allegiance to ISIS, joining the two terrorist groups. U.S. intelligence officials say they don`t think the partnership will be effective.

上周末，據(jù)報(bào)道博科圣地領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人宣誓效忠ISIS，并加入了兩個恐怖組織。美國情報(bào)官員表示其不認(rèn)為雙方合作會產(chǎn)生良好效果。
