　　注：super- 是一個(gè)前綴，表示“特大的，超級(jí)的”等含義，例如：supermarket(超市)，superstar(超級(jí)明星)，superman(超人)等。superpower 是“超級(jí)大國”的習(xí)慣表達(dá)，power 本身也有“強(qiáng)國，大國”的含義，如：an industrial power(工業(yè)強(qiáng)國)，the imperialist powers(帝國主義列強(qiáng))等。用 super country 表示“超級(jí)大國”是中國式的英語。
