1) You may come home with me any time.
   你隨時(shí)可以來我家。
   *You may...是含有“給予允許……”的強(qiáng)烈意義，因此，宜用于年長者對年幼者。

2) Would you like a cigarette?
   你要不要吸煙？

3) Please call me if you have any problems.
   如果你有難題，就請打電話給我吧。

4) Would you care to see a movie tonight?
   今晚你要不要去看電影？

5) Please come over any time.
   請隨時(shí)光臨。
   *come over 有“不辭遠(yuǎn)道而來”之意。

6) Take my jacket if you are cold.
   如果你覺得冷，穿上我的夾克吧。

7) I've brought a wonderful book you might like.
   我?guī)饋砹四憧赡芟矚g的好書。

8) What would you like to do today?
   今天你想做什么？

9) Why don't you join us?
   你不加入我們嗎？
   *邀約的意思要比問理由濃厚。
