　　1.小數(shù)的讀法如下：

　　7.8-Seven point eight

　　0.4-zero point four

　　0.03-zero point zero three

　　603.09-six hundred and three point zero nine

　　2.小數(shù)作定語(yǔ)時(shí)較多：

　　Our grain output is now 2.4 times that of 1998.

　　現(xiàn)在的糧食產(chǎn)量是1998年產(chǎn)暈的2.4倍。

　　Its total output value was up 5.6 times in these years.

　　在這些年里它的工業(yè)總產(chǎn)值增長(zhǎng)了5.6倍。

　　3.百分?jǐn)?shù)由per cent(美國(guó)英語(yǔ)：percent)表示，多和by連用，作狀語(yǔ)：

　　Its output of cotton went up by 20 per cent.

　　The price was reduced by 18 per cent.
