　　我們有時(shí)欲從事某項(xiàng)活動(dòng)，想邀請(qǐng)某人一起參加，可使用本句，來詢問對(duì)方的意思，若對(duì)方見我們態(tài)度誠懇，多半會(huì)共襄盛舉的。

　　A：Hey，Peter，have you had lunch yet?

　　甲：嗨，彼得，你吃過午飯了嗎?

　　B：No.How about you?

　　乙：沒有。 那你呢?

　　A：Not yet.Let’s go to that restaurant on the corner.

　　甲：也還沒有，咱們一塊去轉(zhuǎn)角處那家餐廳用餐吧。

　　除“How about +名詞或代名詞?”的句型外，尚可使用“How about +V-ing (動(dòng)名詞)?”的句型。

　　How about going to a movie tonight? (今晚去看場電影如何?)

　　=What do you say to go to a movie tonight?

　　此外，詞組“on the corner”與“at the corner”意思相同，均表示“在轉(zhuǎn)角處”，但“in the corner”則表示“室內(nèi)之角落處”。

　　John was sitting in the corner of the restaurant reading a newspaper.
