　　X:女士，在左邊那兒。就在有海報的票亭那邊。

　　Y:Oh，I see....Excuse me，could you call a limousine?I'd like to see the sights of the city.

　　夫人，在靠左邊那里。

　　a.over之后常接表示地方的副詞(here , there等)，如over there表示“在那邊”，over有“越過街道、河、海等而到另一邊”之意。

　　例:Tom:Where are my glasses?

　　Lily:They’re right over there.

　　湯姆:我的眼鏡在哪兒?

　　莉莉:就在那邊。

　　b.on the left/right(side) 在左/右邊

　　例:A:Could you tell me where the post office is?

　　B:It's on the right(side)of Bank of China.

　　甲:請你告訴我郵局在哪兒好嗎?

　　乙:在中國銀行右邊。
