虛實(shí)篇 NO.7:
夫兵形象水,水之形,避高而趨下,兵之形,避實(shí)而擊虛。
水因地而制流,兵因敵而制勝。
故兵無常勢(shì),水無常形。
能因敵變化而取勝者,謂之神。
故五行無常勝,四時(shí)無常位,日有短長(zhǎng),月有死生。
這句啥意思:
兵的性態(tài)就象水一樣,水流動(dòng)時(shí)是避開高處流向低處,用兵取勝的關(guān)鍵是避開設(shè)防嚴(yán)密實(shí)力強(qiáng)大的敵人而攻擊其薄弱環(huán)節(jié);
水根據(jù)地勢(shì)來決定流向,軍隊(duì)根據(jù)敵情來采取制勝的方略。
所以用兵作戰(zhàn)沒有一成不變的態(tài)勢(shì),正如流水沒有固定的形狀和去向。
能夠根據(jù)敵情的變化而取勝的,就叫做用兵如神。
金、木、水、火、土這五行相生相克,沒有哪一個(gè)常勝;四季相繼相代,沒有哪一個(gè)固定不移,白天的時(shí)間有長(zhǎng)有短,月亮有圓也有缺。萬物皆處于流變狀態(tài)。
英文這么說:
Military tactics are like unto water; for water in its natural course runs away from high placesand hastens downwards. So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what isweak.
Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; the soldierworks out his victory in relation to the foe whom he is facing.
Therefore, just as water retains no constant shape,so in warfare there are no constantconditions.
He who can modify his tactics in relation to his opponent and thereby succeed in winning,may be called a heaven-born captain.
The five elements (water, fire, wood, metal, earth)are not always equally predominant; the fourseasons make way for each other in turn. There are short days and long;the moon has itsperiods of waning and waxing.
《五行簡(jiǎn)介》
木、火、土、金、水是指五行的五種運(yùn)動(dòng)的物質(zhì)。而五行是指木、火、土、金、水五種物質(zhì)的運(yùn)動(dòng)變化。研究它第一個(gè)要注意的,是“行”,假使算命先生算命,把行認(rèn)為是走路,那就絕對(duì)錯(cuò)了。我們翻《易經(jīng)》,乾卦的“天行健”這句話,這個(gè)“行”是代表運(yùn)動(dòng)的意思,就是“動(dòng)能”,宇宙間物質(zhì)最大的互相關(guān)系,就在這個(gè)動(dòng)能。這個(gè)“動(dòng)能”有五金,以金、木、水、火、土作代表。也和卦一樣,是種傳統(tǒng)符號(hào),不要看得太嚴(yán)重了。所謂“金”并不是黃金,“水”亦并不是和杯中喝的水一樣,千萬不要看成了五行就是五種物質(zhì)。上古文化的五行:金、木、水、火、土,就是現(xiàn)代的地球文化,地球外面的五星,對(duì)我們的關(guān)系很大。
