虛實篇 NO.3：

進而不可御者，沖其虛也;退而不可追者，速而不可及也。

故我欲戰(zhàn)，敵雖高壘深溝，不得不與我戰(zhàn)者，攻其所必救也;

我不欲戰(zhàn)，雖畫地而守之，敵不得與我戰(zhàn)者，乖其所之也。

這句啥意思：

進攻時，敵人無法抵御，那是攻擊了敵人兵力空虛的地方;撤退時，敵人無法追擊，那是行動迅速敵人無法追上。

所以我軍要交戰(zhàn)，敵人就算壘高墻挖深溝，也不得不出來與我軍交戰(zhàn)，是因為我軍攻擊了它非救不可的要害之處;

我軍不想與敵軍交戰(zhàn)，雖然只是在地上畫出界限權作防守，敵人也無法與我軍交戰(zhàn)，原因是我已設法改變了敵軍進攻的方向。

英文這么說：

You may advance and be absolutely irresistible,if you make for the enemy's weak points; youmay retire and be safe from pursuit if your movements are more rapid than those of the enemy.

If we wish to fight, the enemy can be forced to an engagement even though he be shelteredbehind a high rampart and a deep ditch. All we need do is attack some other place that he willbe obliged to relieve.

If we do not wish to fight, we can prevent the enemy from engaging us even though the linesof our encampment be merely traced out on the ground.All we need do is to throw somethingodd and unaccountable in his way.

《畫地而守》

在地上畫出一個界限，表示非常容易，無須刻意的設防。聰明的防御，不是消極的嚴防死守，而是利用“趨利避害”的法則，調(diào)動敵軍，并時時留意化被動為主動的機會……這就是我們先前所講的，用兵如對弈，寧輸數(shù)子，不失一先。
