cross the bridge when once comes to it 字面意思是：“當(dāng)你來(lái)到橋邊的時(shí)候你就可以跨過(guò)橋了”，這句諺語(yǔ)對(duì)應(yīng)漢語(yǔ)中的諺語(yǔ)：“船到橋頭自然直”，勸慰人們不杞人憂天，事情終會(huì)有轉(zhuǎn)機(jī)的。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"You'll cross the bridge when you come to it."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"You can deal with the problem when it appears."、"The problem will get solved at last."。
