people與person的用法比較與說明

1. person 與 people 的基本用法說明

people 是一個(gè)只表示復(fù)數(shù)意義的可數(shù)名詞，可以說 some people(一些人), many people (許多人)等，但不能說 a people 或 one people。如：

Some people react badly to fish. 有些人吃魚后有很強(qiáng)的不良反應(yīng)。

It’s dangerous that so many people have guns. 這么多人有槍那是很危險(xiǎn)的。

person表示“人”，是可數(shù)名詞，可以說a person (1個(gè)人)或three persons (3 個(gè)人)等。

An architect is a person who designs buildings. 建筑師是搞建筑設(shè)計(jì)的人。

More than one person is involved in this. 與此事有牽連的人不止一個(gè)。

Only one person can do the job, namely you. 只有一個(gè)人能做這事，那就是你。

It takes four persons to play bridge. 橋牌要4個(gè)人玩。
