I read your advertisement, in yesterday's newspaper, about employing an English tutor for your ten-year-old son. I am interested in this job.
Now I am a freshman in the English Department of Beijing University. As for my English study, I am the best student in my class and have just passed the Band Four English Examination. Besides, I can speak English fluently. In addition, I have some experience as an English tutor. Last term, I helped a middle-school student with his English. The boy made rapid progress in three months, and got a high score in his final English examination, moving from 13th to 2nd in his class. Furthermore, I am a patient and responsible boy. I like teaching and know how to get along with younger people. I am sure your son can benefit a lot from my teaching and I am competent for this job. I am looking forward to your reply.
