第28章 中外觀眾的差別。
David ： When many people in the west think ofChinese movies, they think about the old Kong Fuflicks, like the ones with Bruce Lee. What kinds ofmovies are popular now?
西方人眼中的中國電影就是那些過去功夫片，李小龍之類的。人們現(xiàn)在最喜歡看什么樣的電影?
You ：I would bet on romance movies as the most popular kind. What kind of Chinese moviesdo you like?
應(yīng)該是愛情片吧。你呢?
David ： I like action and love stories, like “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. It was acclaimedin the west but here in China, I heard it was just considered so so
我喜歡動作愛情片，就像《臥虎藏龍》。西方人都很愛看這個電影，但我聽說中國觀眾認(rèn)為它很普通。
You ：Perhaps the director just wanted to target western audiences. However, I think thedirector should have taken the opinion of the Chinese audience more into account.
也許是因?yàn)閷?dǎo)演在制作時選定西方人作為目標(biāo)觀眾群體，但我倒是覺得導(dǎo)演應(yīng)該更多考慮中國觀眾的欣賞口味。
David ： What do you think is the opinion of the Chinese audience?
你覺得中國觀眾是怎么看的?
You ：Some think that the movie did depict some points of traditional Chinese movies butthe audience could clearly see through the movie’s intended audience. Western audiencesappreciate more the beautiful images of traditional China. But to me, it seems like a moviemade by a foreigner not a Chinese person.
有些人認(rèn)為，這部影片一定程度上確實(shí)表現(xiàn)了傳統(tǒng)中國電影的某些特色，但也很容易看出它的目標(biāo)觀眾是西方人。西方觀眾才更喜歡看到美麗的傳統(tǒng)中國景象。我覺得這部影片不像是出自中國導(dǎo)演之手，倒像是外國導(dǎo)演的作品。
David ： It was a very beautiful movie indeed. Another attracting aspect of the movie was theactress Zhang Ziyi. In the west, she is considered a fox. What do you think?
它實(shí)際是部不錯的影片，另外一個看點(diǎn)就是女主角章子怡。西方人認(rèn)為她很有魅力，你怎么看?
You ：Of course she may be more beautiful than ordinary Chinese woman, but how can I putthis … I think as a movie star she gets a lot of attention so she pays more attention to herappearance. But under the make up she is a typical woman.
她當(dāng)然要比一班人漂亮。但是怎么說呢，既然是影星，總會吸引很多的注意，所以她自然會非常注意自己的形象。其實(shí)，真實(shí)的她不過是個平凡的女人罷了!
David ： I wouldn’t say that. Aside from her beauty, I believe she has some real talent whichmakes her even more attractive.
我可不這么認(rèn)為。我相信除了她的美貌，她的確有很吸引人的才華。
