留學(xué)生在中國 第8期 halloween 萬圣節(jié)
有一個(gè)外國節(jié)日跟南瓜有關(guān)，我想那天你也會(huì)帶一個(gè)南瓜的吧。只是我不記得哪個(gè)節(jié)日了。
David:Are you talking about Halloween?
你是說萬圣節(jié)嗎?
You:Yes, we have a party and give a lot ofperformances
是的，我們?cè)谂蓪?duì)上玩，許多人表演
David: Performance?
表演?
You：Yes, lots of people give performanes on that day?
是的，在節(jié)日那天許多人一起表演節(jié)目。
David:Wait, were they evry scary performances?
等下，是很恐怖的表演節(jié)目嗎?
You：Not scary, but very intense. I can't really remember it exactly. We all danced. There weretwo circles, one for the girls and one for the boys.
不是啊，但是很緊張。我不記得確切的場景了，我們都在跳舞，圍著兩個(gè)圈，一個(gè)都是女孩，另一個(gè)全是男孩。
David:For Halloween? Really? In America, we don't have such performances on Halloween.Instead, we usually dressed up in costums and go trick or treat.Trick or treat is a game withchildren go to people's homes and ask for candy.
這是萬圣節(jié)?你確定嗎?在美國我們并沒有這些表演的。相反，我們會(huì)穿上萬圣節(jié)的恐怖服裝，然后去玩“不給糖就搗蛋”的游戲，也就是小孩子挨家挨戶討要糖果的活動(dòng)。
You:Yeah, it was a game. Then the ofreign teachers ask us to cut up the pumpkin, so we did,and then we lighted it up.

David： You carved pumpkin, the Jack-o'-lantern?

You:Yes, it was very interesting.
