Halloween
Molly: How did your Halloween party go?
Finn: Two thumbs up.I met a handsome vampire .We drank some blood together.
Molly: That's kind of cool.Drinking blood?
Finn: It was just red juice, but we called it blood because it was Halloween night.
Molly: I heard about your Halloween party, even the adults have the party and get dressed up .The famous activity is“Trick or Treat ”.But what does“Trick”mean?
Finn: Actually, our small kids get dressed up and then walk around with paper bags or baskets knocking on their neighbors, doors.Usually it's the older kids going around playing pranks, like punching the pumpkins left outside people's doors,or hanging a roll of toilet paper in someone's tree. They usually do it late at night after the little kids go home.
Molly: It sounds kind of fun.Maybe I could get together with my kids next year.
Finn: Good. Before Halloween you need to buy two pumpkins and a big bag of candy .Can you make a jack-o'-lantern ?
Molly: Of course.
