[00:03.99]Standing by the swimming pool, June was really hot and decided to plunge into the water.
[00:11.18]The refreshing water cooled her body immediately.
[00:14.88]Having not swam in the past several years and being a bit out of shape, June began to tire easily.
[00:21.85]“Ah, no pain no gain,” June thought to herself.
[00:25.66]June continued to swim, realizing her head was hurting and her body was feeling like Jell-O.
[00:31.32]Breathing became difficult. Her vision wasn’t so clear.
[00:35.68]She saw the life guard and a couple others around the pool.
[00:39.27]No sense in embarrassing herself or bothering anyone. She continued on.
[00:44.18]She found herself in the middle of the pool.
[00:47.44]Deciding not to make a scene, she continued to swim.
[00:50.71]Finally she made it to the other side of the pool.
[00:54.30]Nausea, weakness and exhaustion made it difficult for June to get out of the pool.
[01:00.18]As she stood, her body swayed back and forth, losing her balance.
[01:06.39]Realizing she needed help but unable to even say anything, she leaned against the pool side and stood there.
[01:13.25]Several minutes later she had enough energy to barely pull her body up out of the pool.
[01:18.80]Sitting at the side of the pool with her feet in the water she felt the lifeguard was staring at her.
[01:24.57]June nodded at him, telling him that she was okay.

[01:34.16]Does stress in your life overwhelm you?
[01:37.75]We’ve all been there. One suggestion is to take some time for yourself. Ask for help.
[01:44.61]There is nothing wrong in asking for help. June could have drowned.
[01:48.96]We all have the tendency, as June did, to plow through life not regarding your warning signs.
[01:56.04]Perhaps you may find yourself avoiding help because you’re afraid you’ll be made a laughing stock.
[02:01.38]Please, stop and ask for help — before you find yourself “drowning”.
[02:06.50]Life has many ups and downs. Such stressors can lead to situations and/or feelings unbearable.
[02:13.79]When you find yourself unable to “keep your head above water,” stop.
[02:19.36]Look around. And Listen. Listen for ideas from within that can help you.
[02:25.05]In such a situation, if we panic, we’ll almost certainly slip further into trouble.
[02:30.52]You can find peace after you understand the chaos.
[02:34.57]Always take time to listen to your body.
[02:37.30]Be kind to yourself.
[02:39.05]You’ll find the journey of life happier and more fulfilling.
