[00:07.00]Gulliver's Travels Part 1
[00:11.71]On May 4th 1699,
[00:15.16]I left England for the South Seas
[00:18.18]on a ship that was called the 'Antelope'.
[00:21.94]For the first six months of our trip,
[00:24.54]everything went well
[00:26.82]but then the weather turned bad;
[00:28.96]there was a terrible storm
[00:30.93]that lasted several days.
[00:33.40]The ship was blown off course.
[00:36.47]We did not know where we were
[00:39.29]and the sailors became tired, hungry and sick.
[00:44.23]Twelve of them died.
[00:47.08]On November 5th,
[00:48.71]some of the sailors saw a rock sticking
[00:51.30]out of the sea.
[00:53.01]They tried to sail away from the rock
[00:56.11]but the wind was so strong that the ship
[00:59.72]was blown onto it.
[01:01.65]The rock split the boat into two pieces.
[01:05.61]Everybody was thrown into the water
[01:08.74]and we all tried to get into the boats
[01:10.75]on the ship.
[01:12.63]Five sailors and I managed to get into
[01:15.89]a samll boat and we rowed away
[01:18.99]from the ship as quickly as we could.
[01:22.25]However, the strong wind and waves soon
[01:25.52]overturned boat.
[01:28.09]I didn't know what happened to the sailors
[01:31.08]but I swam for hours ans hours.
[01:34.50]I kept letting my legs drop to see
[01:37.03]if I could touch the bottom of the sea.
[01:40.06]After several hours,
[01:42.08]I could finally fell land beneath my feet.
