The professor of a contract law class asked one of his better students, "If you were to give someonean orange, how would you go about it?"
合同法教授問(wèn)他的一個(gè)好學(xué)生:“如果你要給某人一個(gè)橘子,你要怎么說(shuō)?”
The student replied, "Here's an orange."
那學(xué)生答:“給你個(gè)橘子。”
The professor was outraged. "No! No! Think like a lawyer!"
教授生氣了。“不對(duì)!不對(duì)!要像個(gè)律師那樣!”
The student then replied, "Okay. I'd tell him, I hereby give and convey to you all and singular,my estate and interests, rights, title, claim, and advantages of and inside orange, togetherwith all its rind, juice, pulp, and seeds, and all rights and advantages with full power to bite,cut, freeze and otherwise eat, the same, or give the same way with and without the pulp,juice, rind and seeds, anything herein before or hereinafter or in any deed, or deeds,instruments of whatever nature or kind whatsoever to the contrary in anywisenotwithstanding..."
那學(xué)生又答:“好吧。我會(huì)對(duì)他說(shuō),‘我將我的財(cái)產(chǎn)這只橘子的外皮、汁液、果肉和種子,連同它的收益及所有權(quán),以及咬、切、凍或其他吃這只橘子的全權(quán)贈(zèng)予你。無(wú)論這只橘子是否帶有外皮、汁液、果肉及種子,任何在此之前或之后的行為,不論以何種方式使用天然或非天然的工具,盡管……’”
