A lot of bull也可以說(shuō)為a load of bull.
e.g. Don't hand me that line of bull, Roscoe.
e.g. In short, all his rationalizing is pure bull.
e.g. That's a load of bull! I don't believe a word of it.
e.g. I am so fed up with your bull, cut the crap.
Ps 1:ask for leave的意思是“請(qǐng)假”,也可以說(shuō)為:ask for leave of absence。例如:
Mr. Smith, I have to ask for leave for a few hours.
He ask for leave of absence to visit his mother in hospital.
相當(dāng)于something take the first place or something is put first/put in the first place。例如:
Study always comes first.
Money does not come first. Health and happiness should be put in the first place.
