　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Bull有“公牛”的意思，在這里是俚語(yǔ)，是指“胡說(shuō)八道”“完全錯(cuò)誤的事情”，相當(dāng)于bullshit。Bullshit雖然粗俗卻很流行，bull或B.S.是bullshit的委婉說(shuō)法。A lot of bull也可以說(shuō)為a load of bull.

　　e.g. In short, all his rationalizing is pure bull.

　　He ask for leave of absence to visit his mother in hospital.

　　他請(qǐng)假去探望住院的母親。

　　Ps 2：表示“某件事情放在第一位”，我們可以這樣說(shuō)：Something comes first. 相當(dāng)于something take the first place or something is put first/put in the first place。例如：

　　Study always comes first.

　　學(xué)習(xí)總是放在第一位。

　　Money does not come first. Health and happiness should be put in the first place.

　　金錢(qián)不是放在第一位，健康和快樂(lè)才是要放在第一位。
