　　say uncle

　　1. 解詞釋義

　　此語也可以用做cry uncle。意思是“to give up or give in”“to surrender”or “to admit defeat”。當(dāng)男孩子們打架時，一方向制服另外一方，另一方就會說“Say uncle.”這時候，不服輸?shù)牧?，就不喊uncle。后來，say uncle就成了“服輸”的代名詞，而never say uncle和中文中“嘴硬”意思相同。
