　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Mouthful的本意是“吃一口飯菜”中的“一口”，而say a mouthful是美國(guó)的一個(gè)俚語(yǔ)，意思是“說(shuō)話說(shuō)得中肯，說(shuō)到點(diǎn)子上”。Mouthful在這個(gè)俚語(yǔ)中的意思就是“重要而有洞察力的見(jiàn)解”。因此，對(duì)話中的“You have justsaid a mouthful.”的意思是“你說(shuō)話說(shuō)到點(diǎn)子上了。”

　　e.g. The man who said we'd be frozen up in mid-January said a mouthful.

　　Ps 1：participate in的意思是“參加......”。例如：

　　He has invited the all battle companions participate in his wedding party. 他邀請(qǐng)了所有戰(zhàn)友參加他的結(jié)婚舞會(huì)。

　　Terry can't participate in the match because he has hurt his foot. 特里不能參加比賽，因?yàn)樗ち四_。

　　Ps 2：do nothing but的意思是“只能做......不能做其他的”。例如：

　　You just feel like do nothing but take a shower and cooling off. 你簡(jiǎn)直什么也不想干,只想洗個(gè)淋浴涼快涼快。

　　You can do nothing but let matters take their course. 你無(wú)能為力,只能聽(tīng)其自然。

　　On holidays he would do nothing but stick around. 假日里他什么也不做，總是閑來(lái)蕩去。
