　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Tall order的意思是“難以完成的任務(wù)”，其英文解釋為“a formidable task or requirement”。對(duì)話中的“Itseems like a tall order.”的意思是“這個(gè)要求似乎有些苛刻。”

　　2. 拓展例句

　　e.g. He issued a tall order that no one could comply with.

　　他提出了一個(gè)誰都無法答應(yīng)的要求。

　　e.g. It is a tall order to expect me to finish the job in two days. It will take a week at least.

　　期望我在兩天內(nèi)完成這個(gè)任務(wù)有些苛刻。這至少要一周的時(shí)間。

　　e.g. As you know, it's a tall order. Do you have confidence?

　　你知道，這個(gè)任務(wù)很艱巨，有信心嗎?

　　Ps 1：對(duì)話中有個(gè)動(dòng)詞短語結(jié)構(gòu)get the entire task completed的意思是“把所有的任務(wù)完成”，這是getsomething done這個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)，意思是“完成，做完......”。例如：

　　Have you get your assignment done? 你把家庭作業(yè)做完了嗎?

　　Ps 2：less than的意思是“少于”。例如：

　　e.g.It's less than five minutes' walk to a shopping mall. 走路不到五分鐘就有成片的商店。

　　e.g.I can't wrap up the peace talk in less than fifty pages. 我無法以不到50頁紙的篇幅寫出和平會(huì)談總結(jié)。
