1. 地道表達：put one’s at rest
(1)解詞釋義
At rest作為習語有“安寧”的意思，put your heart at rest從字面上看就是“把你的心放安寧”。人的心什么時候放安寧呢?也就是放心的時候。因此，該與的意思是“放心”。對話中“You can put your heart at rest. ”的意思就是“你放心吧。”
(2)典型范例
e.g. We have taken measures to reinforce them. Please set your mind at rest.
我們已經采取措施加固，請放心好了。
e.g. He will be in the pink, so put your heart at rest.

Ps: at rest有三個意思。第一個意思是“安息，長眠”。例如：
He lies at rest in the Martyrs' Cemetery.他在烈士陵園安息著。
The poor man is now at rest.那個可憐的人現(xiàn)在已經安息。
第二個意思是“靜止不動”。 例如：
The sails of the windmill are now at rest.風車的帆葉現(xiàn)在靜止不動了。
The waves of the sea are never at rest.大海的波濤永不停息。
第三個意思是“平息”或“停止”。例如：
We set the matter at rest.我們把問題解決了。
