Date (n.) - A romantic meeting. 約會

如：They made a date to meet soon.

他們約定不久見面。

Contemporary (adj.) - Up-to-date, modern. adj. 同時代的，同時的，現(xiàn)代的

如：He had devoted his whole life to the study of contemporary art.

他把他的一生都獻(xiàn)給了當(dāng)代藝術(shù)研究。

She and I were contemporaries at college.

她和我在學(xué)院里是同學(xué)。

Scruffy (adj.) - Old and used (usually for clothes). adj. 不整齊的，骯臟的，破舊的

如：You can't go to a job interview looking so scruffy!

Blurred (adj.) - Unclear (usually referring to something you see). adj. 模糊的，含糊的，難辨的

如：I have to have my set fixed. It's get blurred.
