B: It looks like some kind of primitive form of torture.

A: You're such a wimp! You're afraid of an eyelash curler.

B: Well, you might pinch your eyelid! Or lose an eyeball!

A: It just makes my eyelashes curl upwards.

B: What for?

A: More sales!

gross與nasty同義，意為‘惡心的’

curl v.使彎曲，弄彎

She has curled (up) her hair.

她已經(jīng)卷過頭發(fā).

eyelash n. 睫毛

primitive a. 原始的

torture n. 折磨，拷問

wimp n.懦弱的人

be afraid of 害怕

Don't be afraid of asking questions.

不要怕提問題。

pinch v.修剪

B: 惡心!你在對自己做什么?

A: 別緊張!我只是在卷眼睫毛。

B: 這看起來活像是原始的酷刑。
