Susan: What's your favorite magazine?

Eddy: Off hand, I'd say the Reader's Digests is my favorite.

Susan: What kind of magazine is it?

Eddy: It's instructive and inspiring.

Susan: Really? It is a weekly, isn't it?

Eddy: No, it's a semimonthly.

Susan: Does it enjoy popularity among the young generation?

Eddy: Yes, it's so popular that it's sold out as soon as it reaches the bookstores.

Susan: Oh, I think I should try to read one.

蘇珊： 你最喜歡什么雜志?

注解 :

1) instructive (adj) : 增進(jìn)知識的

2) inspiring (adj) : 激勵人心的，啟發(fā)靈感的

3) popularity (n) : 流行

4) generation (n) : group of people of the same age一代

例: My mom's generation usually likes different things from mine.

我媽媽這一代人所喜歡的東西與我們不同。

5) as soon as: 一……就……
