泰式按摩入選聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織非遺名錄

日前在哥倫比亞波哥大舉行的聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織會(huì)議上，泰式按摩被列入人類非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄(the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity)。

對(duì)于泰式按摩入選，聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織表示：

The practice has its roots in self-care in Thai peasant society of the past, [where] every village had massage healers whom villagers would turn to when they had muscle aches from working the field.

泰式按摩根植于過去泰國(guó)農(nóng)耕社會(huì)的自我療愈，每個(gè)村都有按摩治療師，村民們干農(nóng)活感到肌肉疼痛時(shí)就會(huì)去找按摩師治療。

根據(jù)聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織的定義，非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)(Intangible Cultural Heritage)包括口頭傳統(tǒng)(oral traditions), 表演藝術(shù)(performing arts), 社會(huì)慣例(social practices),儀式(rituals), 節(jié)日活動(dòng)(festive events), 與本土或全球有關(guān)的知識(shí)及慣例(knowledge and practices concerning native and the universe)或者制作傳統(tǒng)工藝品的知識(shí)和技能(the knowledge and skills to produce traditional crafts)。

除了這里提到的人類非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄(the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity)以外，還有一個(gè)類別是“急需保護(hù)的非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)名錄(the list of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding)”，入選的項(xiàng)目都是急需采取保護(hù)措施，以繼續(xù)存活并傳承下去的項(xiàng)目，比如：我國(guó)的木活字印刷術(shù)(wooden movable-type printing)。

泰式按摩有何特點(diǎn)

Unlike conventional massages, Thai massages involve a lot of movement and typically sees people assuming a series of different positions.

與傳統(tǒng)按摩不同，泰式按摩有很多動(dòng)作，會(huì)采用一系列不同的按摩姿勢(shì)。

Therapists use not only their hands but sometimes their forearms and knees to apply pressure. There is also no oil involved in Nuad Thai massage.

按摩師不僅用手，有時(shí)還會(huì)用前臂和膝蓋來施加壓力。此外，泰式按摩一般不會(huì)使用按摩油。
