Ant Forest, a green initiative, has received a 2019 Champions of the Earth award, the UN’s highest environmental honor, for turning the green good deeds of half a billion people into real trees planted in some of China’s most arid regions.
因帶動(dòng)5億人參與環(huán)保,在中國(guó)最干旱的地區(qū)種樹(shù),環(huán)保項(xiàng)目“螞蟻森林”獲得聯(lián)合國(guó)最高環(huán)保榮譽(yù)“2019地球衛(wèi)士獎(jiǎng)”。
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) recognized Ant Forest in the ‘Inspiration and Action’ category.
聯(lián)合國(guó)環(huán)境規(guī)劃署授予“螞蟻森林”該獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)中的“激勵(lì)與行動(dòng)獎(jiǎng)”。
【名詞解釋】
“地球衛(wèi)士獎(jiǎng)”(Champions of the Earth)由聯(lián)合國(guó)環(huán)境規(guī)劃署于2005年設(shè)立,是聯(lián)合國(guó)表彰環(huán)境保護(hù)行動(dòng)的最高獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng),授予那些在環(huán)保方面做出重大貢獻(xiàn),給環(huán)境帶來(lái)積極重大改變的個(gè)人或組織,每年頒發(fā)一次。
2017年和2018年“地球衛(wèi)士獎(jiǎng)”中的“激勵(lì)與行動(dòng)獎(jiǎng)”均由我國(guó)的組織獲得。
In 2018, the Zhejiang Green Rural Revival Program won the award for inspiration and action for its work to regenerate polluted waterways and damaged lands; and in 2017, the Saihanba Afforestation Community was recognized in the inspiration and action category for transforming degraded land into a lush paradise.
2018年,浙江省“千村示范、萬(wàn)村整治”工程因在整治污染河道以及修復(fù)損毀土地方面的工作獲得“激勵(lì)與行動(dòng)獎(jiǎng)”;2017年,塞罕壩林場(chǎng)因讓貧瘠沙地變成綠水青山而獲得同一獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。
聯(lián)合國(guó)環(huán)境規(guī)劃署執(zhí)行主任英厄·安諾生表示,

“螞蟻森林”展示了如何通過(guò)技術(shù),激發(fā)全球用戶的正能量和創(chuàng)新行動(dòng)。雖然我們面臨的環(huán)境挑戰(zhàn)很嚴(yán)峻,但是我們有技術(shù)和知識(shí)可以克服這些挑戰(zhàn)并且從根本上重塑我們與地球互動(dòng)的方式。這樣的項(xiàng)目充分調(diào)動(dòng)了人類的聰明才智,激發(fā)創(chuàng)新行動(dòng),助力我們創(chuàng)造一個(gè)更美好的世界。
我們“偷”的能量、種的樹(shù)都沒(méi)有白費(fèi)
“螞蟻森林”由螞蟻金融服務(wù)集團(tuán)(簡(jiǎn)稱螞蟻金服)于2016年8月在支付寶平臺(tái)推出,鼓勵(lì)用戶通過(guò)低碳環(huán)保的日常行為為環(huán)境做貢獻(xiàn)。

Ant Forest users are encouraged to record their low-carbon footprint through daily actions like taking public transport or paying utility bills online. For each action, they receive ‘green energy’ points and when they accumulate a certain number of points, an actual tree is planted.Users can view images of their trees in real-time via satellite.
用戶通過(guò)在“螞蟻森林”里記錄自己日常生活中公交出行、在線支付水電費(fèi)等低碳行動(dòng)積攢“綠色能量”積分,等積分累積到一定數(shù)額的時(shí)候,就可以種下一顆真正的樹(shù)。用戶可以通過(guò)衛(wèi)星實(shí)時(shí)圖像查看自己種的樹(shù)。
In addition to tree-planting, users can choose to protect certain size of conservation land on Ant Forest platform, which is also exploring innovative solutions to alleviate poverty and improve the lives of local people by leveraging the power of digital technology.
除了種樹(shù)以外,用戶還可以通過(guò)“螞蟻森林”平臺(tái)認(rèn)領(lǐng)保護(hù)地,通過(guò)數(shù)字技術(shù)手段探索創(chuàng)新扶貧方式,改善當(dāng)?shù)厝嗣竦纳钏健?/p>
Since its launch in August 2016, Ant Forest and its NGO partners have planted some 122 million trees in China's driest areas, which include regions in Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai and Shanxi. The trees cover an area of 112,000 hectares, with the project becoming China's largest private sector tree-planting initiative.
自2016年8月推出以來(lái),“螞蟻森林”及其非政府組織合作伙伴已經(jīng)在內(nèi)蒙古、甘肅、青海、山西等干旱地區(qū)種下1.22億棵樹(shù)。這些樹(shù)覆蓋了11.2萬(wàn)公頃的土地,而該項(xiàng)目也成為中國(guó)最大的民間植樹(shù)項(xiàng)目。
