The Ministry of Education in China has announced a new regulation that bans any paid make-up classes organized by primary schools or middle schools.
日前,我國教育部宣布新規(guī),嚴禁中小學(xué)校進行有償補課。
“有償補課”可以用 paid make-up classes表示。Paid表示付費的,有償?shù)?,如帶薪休?paid leave),待遇優(yōu)厚的工作(a well-paid job),未付稅款(unpaid tax)。
部分學(xué)校以課外活動(extra-curricular activity)的形式進行有償補課,但有些老師強迫學(xué)生參加有償補課(force students to take these paid classes)。根據(jù)規(guī)定,對于違反規(guī)定的中小學(xué)校,或?qū)⒔o予撤消榮譽稱號(be stripped of any honours or titles )等處罰。規(guī)定將在寒暑假期間(during summer and winter breaks )嚴格執(zhí)行(be strictly enforced)。同時,教育部還設(shè)立了群眾舉報熱線(set up a public complaints hotline)。
