“憲法宣誓”制度明年實行

Chinese officials in state organs shall pledge allegiance to the Constitution when taking their posts, according to a decision adopted by China's top legislature Wednesday.

我國最高立法機關(guān)7月1日通過了一項決定，國家機關(guān)工作人員正式就職時，都要向憲法宣誓。

關(guān)于憲法宣誓(pledge allegiance to Constitution)制度的適用范圍，決定指出，各級人民代表大會(people's congresses at all levels)及縣級以上(above the county level)各級人民代表大會常務(wù)委員會選舉或者決定任命的(elected or appointed)國家工作人員，以及各級人民政府、人民法院、人民檢察院任命的國家工作人員(state functionaries)，在就職時(while assuming office)應(yīng)當(dāng)公開進行憲法宣誓(should take a public oath of allegiance to the Constitution)。

宣誓誓詞共70字，內(nèi)容為：我宣誓(I pledge)：忠于中華人民共和國憲法(to be allegiant to the Constitution of the People's Republic of China)，維護憲法權(quán)威(safeguard the Constitution authority)，履行法定職責(zé)(perform obligations given by the laws)，忠于祖國、忠于人民(be loyal to the country and people)，恪盡職守、廉潔奉公(be committed and honest when performing duties)，接受人民監(jiān)督(accept people's supervision)，為建設(shè)富強、民主、文明、和諧的社會主義國家努力奮斗(and work hard to build a socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, and harmonious)!
