今天我們要學(xué)的詞兒是clash。 Clash是沖突的意思。"An armed clash"是武裝沖突;"a verbal clash"則是口角。工業(yè)化八國(guó)集團(tuán)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人高峰會(huì)議星期三在德國(guó)開幕。媒體報(bào)道說(shuō)，"German police clashed with protesters near the site of the summit," 意思是德國(guó)警察在峰會(huì)會(huì)址附近跟抗議人群發(fā)生了沖突。

Clash也可以指利益、意見和性格上的沖突。比如說(shuō)，"They clashed over the tax cut proposal," 意思是他們?cè)跍p稅提案上存在意思分歧。再比如，"He has a personality clash with his boss,"是說(shuō)他跟自己的老板從性格上就合不來(lái)。好的，今天我們學(xué)習(xí)的詞兒是clash...
