Nancy： Madrigals are short poems set to music, that were popular in England in the 16th and 17th centuries, but were developed in Italy hundreds of years before that.

Nancy： They’re usually done with small choruses, and have a sweet, simple sound to them, which sounds great when it’s done with good voices.
